The Karachi Medical & Dental College is located in North Nazimabad, Block ‘M’. Abbasi Shaheed Hospital is attached to this college. KMDC was the first government sector medical institute of Pakistan to start an entry test for admissions.

KMDC is affiliated with (UoK) the University of Karachi. It offers all the programs of the undergraduate level that the PMDC recognizes. The college announces the admissions for BDS & MBBS in September or October.

Available Seats

• The college offers 250 seats annually for MBBS students.
• Every year KMDC offers 100 seats for BDS applicants.

The KMDC admission committee will conduct the entry test. After the Entry test, the officials will call the first 200 applicants for an interview. Merit is the only condition for the entry test, and KMDC has no self-financing scheme or quota system.

KMDC Admission Procedure

Students can submit their application forms for the session 2023. You can get the prospectus & entry test forms for BDS & MBBS from 14th to 26th November. The due date for the submission of application forms is 28th November 2023.
