Gomal Medical College Admission 2023-24 [GMC Dera Ismail Khan]

The Gomal Medical College is a government-funded institution that teaches students the knowledge of Medicine in a better way in Dera Ismail Khan. Hence, the institution uses the latest technology to teach its students. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister founded this college on 26th August 1998.

As a part of the Gomal University’s central library, the college was established on 11th January 1999. As of 2010, the college is affiliated with Khyber Medical University, Peshawar. Initially, it was affiliated with Peshawar University in Peshawar.

Pakistan Medical and Dental Council permanently recognized the college in 2007. College publications, including the Gomal Journal of Medical Sciences, have been recognized by PMDC (Pakistan Medical Commission) the Higher Education Council (HEC), and the World Health Organization (WHO) since 2003.

Gomal Medical College Admission 2023

The admissions for this session have been announced, so those who were awaiting can now apply online by clicking on the button above. After the 25 November 2021 deadline, no applications will be processed by the management.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission

• Candidates must have at least 70% in intermediate with F Sc (Pre-Medical) from any BISE.
• Candidates who have passed the last exams with medical Science subjects F. Sc (pre-Medical) or equivalent.
• Candidates who took the ETEA entry test in 2020.
• For admissions, foreign candidates who have completed FSc or equivalent education and successfully taken SAT-II or MCAT must have an Equivalency Certificate from IBCC.

Admissions Process of 2023

• Admission forms are available at https://cas.kmu.edu.pk
• Create an account by entering a valid username and password.
• Select the category you wish to apply for.
• A challan for Rs.3000/- must be generated there and deposited at any branch of MCB.
• Check the payment details again by logging in again.
• Fill out the admission form completely and submit it before the deadline.
• Incomplete and late forms received after the deadline will not be considered.
• Interviews will be conducted later with selected candidates.

Hostel

At Gomal Medical College D.I. Khan, students come from all parts of Pakistan and abroad, so the college has three dormitories with a capacity of 400 students. The first one is for girls (150 students), the second one is for senior male students (250 students), and the third is for junior male students (150 students). Three of the hostels are within the college’s boundaries and one is outside, within walking distance.
